RepLadder for iPhone
Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 3, 2026
Everything stays on your phone
RepLadder is an iPhone app for ladder-style exercise challenges: one pushup today, two tomorrow, and so on toward a goal. It has no account and no sign-in, connects to no server, and makes no network requests at all. There are no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party software inside it.
What the app stores
The exercises you set up and the reps you log are saved on your iPhone, in the app's own storage. The app's widgets read and write that same storage on your phone. Nothing is sent to me or to anyone else, apart from what you choose to share (next section).
If you back up your device with iCloud or a computer, that data travels with the backup under the settings you have chosen for backups, the same as any other app's data. The backup belongs to your Apple account, and RepLadder has no access to it.
Sharing a challenge
You can send a friend one or more of your exercises as a link, through the iPhone share sheet. The link itself contains the settings of the exercises you picked: their names, schedules, starting targets, increments and goals. It does not contain your logged reps or any progress, and nothing about you. It goes only to whoever you send it to, through whatever app you choose to send it with.
If your friend has RepLadder, the link opens in their app. If they don't, it opens a page on this website that shows the challenge and where to get the app. That page reads the settings out of the link in the browser and does not keep them; like any web page, the request that loads it reaches the website's hosting provider, which keeps ordinary request logs for a short time. RepLadder itself still makes no network requests.
What the app does not touch
RepLadder does not read your contacts, location, photos, health data, or anything else on your phone.
Reminders
If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules local notifications on your phone. iOS creates and delivers them on the device; no notification service is involved. You can turn them off in the app's Settings, or in the iPhone Settings app under Notifications.
TestFlight
If you installed RepLadder through TestFlight, Apple collects the crash logs and feedback that TestFlight itself handles, under Apple's privacy terms. RepLadder adds nothing to that.
Deleting your data
Delete the app. Everything it stored goes with it, apart from what your device backups hold.
